I’m having a nice relaxing visit in Houston with my family. I arrived on Friday at 1pm, my brother Lowell picked me up at the airport and then I spent the afternoon with the whole fam at my sister’s house. I was looking forward to a dinner of bar-b-que ribs from the backyard grill, but I admitted defeat and went to bed at 6pm.
My brother and parents flew back to their respective homes (New York and Illinois) this afternoon, so now it is just me, my sister, brother-in-law and little John.

Just a quick post to say hi. We’ve been very busy with work, and last weekend spent 4 days in Krakow, Poland. I leave for Houston, Texas tomorrow morning to visit my family and meet my new nephew. 1 and 2 half nights in my own bed is not enough recovery time between trips:-) Mr Schrockthehouse will be holding down the fort – doing taxes and probably playing X-box.These two trips are definitely too close together.
We had a great time, I took notes and will post our experiences and recommendations soon…but for now just a few pictures.
