Wednesday with the Dickersons

Wednesday was a ‘transitional’ day in our vacation.  We drove from Stavely across the width of England (not very wide) to York.  We stopped in Durham – home of my favorite cathedreal.  Very nice.

We rolled into York about 6pm.  Mom, Dad and Lowell had dinner at a nice pub in a crooked building.

I enjoyed some quiet time with a book.

Have you read “Notes from a Small Island”? It’s a book about an American who moves to Britain and how he can’t understand why they think it’s a: big or b: far away from the continent of Europe.
